The FAT of the new granulation plant of the company Productos Farmacéuticos Collins (Mexico) has been completed, with customer satisfaction. 

It is  composed by: through wall fluid bed dryer (1600 liters, 12-bar pressure resistant construction), tank for preparation of solution, air treatment unit, WIP skid, through wall pneumatic transport system and conical mill on column lift.

The granulation process takes place inside fluid bed dryer only, by the use of granulation accessories (one pot processing): triclover connections for mounting nozzles, spray nozzles, peristaltic pump, liquid preparation tank, etc...

The fluid bed granulation process is a perfect solution in the context of solid forms manufacturing, with low costs and reduced process times, which allows to improve the physical characteristics of powder and therefore the performance in compression, encapsulation and dosage phases.
